While the post election explosive growth of Bluesky has slowed, the platform is still growing at a healthy rate. We passed 24.3M accounts this week, and still adding between 150-200K users per day.

Last weekend, I was tagged in a thread where Justin Jackson talked about shutting down his Twitter/X account. He updated his account with a banner similar to what you see above.

​Kevin suggested it might be cool to build a page, so anyone could generate a banner for themselves. Chad asked if I might know how to build something like that.

I didn't know, but I thought I'd give it a try. I turned out to be relatively straight forward, so now anyone can quickly generate an "I've moved to Bluesky" banner.

I've been collecting press mentions of Bluesky Directory for a while in this thread.

I wanted to create a better way to see the articles, and also decided to expand the list to Bluesky related coverage.

Lots of great coverage for all the major news outlets. I'm collecting significant older stories, but will be concentrating on coverage moving forward.
